Waterfall series, Kamiyama 2013, installation at Kunstmuseum Stuttgart 2019

I am happy to be able to return to Kamiyama, Japan after a 3,5 year break. Together with my wife Beatrice Theil - we both run art-space ITO Raum - and architect couple Lisa-Maria Fromme and Sebastian Wenz / mithin, we go on a 3 week research trip followed by a 5 week residency. End of May our exhibition DA:ZWISCHEN / IN:BETWEEN will be shown in the old, wooden Yorii-za theatre in Kamiyama. In Autumn the exhibition can be seen at ITO Raum in Stuttgart, Germany.

The residency and exhibition is supported by Kulturamt Stadt Stuttgart and the Austrian Cultural Forum Tokyo.
